Sports and Football Coaching for Children

::::: Russell Milton ::::: Premier Sports Coaching have been organising sports coaching for children of all ages for over 7 years now . Headed by Russell Milton, a former professional footballer with Arsenal and Cheltenham and PE Teacher, these have included Holiday courses, After School Clubs, Advanced courses, PPA work, Birthday parties, Arsenal matchday trips and many other ventures. These are all organised in a fun and safe environment catering for those children that have just started their particular sport to those that are wanting to push on into the more Advanced levels. Our sessions not only improve children in a physical aspect but also socially and mentally which we feel is essential to child development. My coaches and I are committed to providing quality coaching in a safe and organised environment.

Gulf in Class Saturdays game against Darlington really brought home to me  one thing . The massive gulf between some of  the teams in League One and Two  .
Calamitous Cheltenham Echoes of the Peterborough match last season would have rang round The Abbey Business Stadium on Saturday , in what was one of the most extraordinary starts to a game many of us would have witnessed. None of us in the press box could quite believe what was happening and indeed keep up with events on the pitch.
Promising Start for The Robins Cheltenham carried their decent pre season form and high level of positivity into the first game and came away with the points in what was a very entertaining afternoon.
Charity Game For those of you that couldn’t make it along to the charity game on the 11th July you missed a treat . It was great to see all the old boys again to mark 10 years since our promotion  to the football league in what was a meteoric two years.
Pre-season Assessment With the 09/10  season only around 48 hours away there seems to be a real sense of optimism at the club , something probably not envisaged at the end of last season.

Wengers Weekly Roundup
Clean sheet good for our confidence
I was delighted with the result on Saturday and it was good to keep a clean sheet too. It's good for the confidence of the team that we did not concede against Wigan.

Skipper John Finnigan Leaves
Just recently has seen the departure of Cheltenham’s club captain John Finnigan , I remember the day he walked through the door some seven years ago and ever since has been a more than popular member of the dressing room .

Shane Duff
Duff takes over the reins
It didn’t come as too much of a shock to me , and probably the majority of Cheltenham fans , that Shane Duff is the new club captain .
